We are exclusively devoted to the management of medical and surgical treatment for complex ear and hearing disorders, and are among the few specially trained otology neurotology practices with this kind of experience. Our expertise includes:

  • Vestibular nerve disorders: which can cause dizziness and loss of balance.
  • Acoustic neuroma: Neurotologic procedures may be coordinated to achieve effective removal of the tumor, with maximum preservation of function.

  • Congenital absence of the outer canal (aural atresia): Surgical correction may achieve reconstruction of the ear canal with meaningful hearing.

  • Facial nerve disorders: Facial nerve disorders and paralysis may be treated with medical or surgical therapy or EMG biofeedback.

  • Cochlear Implants: for profound sensorineural hearing loss in children and adults.

  • Auditory prostheses: Malfunctioning components of the ear, such as stapes or cochlea, may be treated with a prosthesis to improve hearing.

  • Tumors of the temporal bone and skull base: We use a multi-disciplined approach, utilizing the modern resources of the New York University Medical Center for these complex disorders.

  • Audiology: Our audiology services include state-of-the-art facilities to diagnose and possibly prevent hearing loss.

  • Pediatric otology: Children are especially rewarding patients, and they compose a special segment of our practice. Parents can expect a sympathetic partner to help them deal with their child's anxieties and frustrations, as well as provide them with the latest medical care.

  • Pediatric Patients: We welcome children as patients. Space limitations require us, however, to ask that only the child's parents accompany him or her to our office except in extenuating circumstances.
